I created the HVAC Designer application originally for DOS, then ported it to Windows with Visual Basic. The application can do psychrometric analysis, water and refrigerant coil design and selection, refrigerant metering device selection, balancing of heatpump indoor and outdoor units, compressor selection and propeller fan selection, to name a few.
